- Cambridge prepares to be painted pink (August 19, 2010)
Printing companies in Cambridge will be on hand to help produce leaflets containing vital information about breast cancer awareness. The city gears up to be painted pink in September as part of Cancer Research’s ‘Paint Cambridge Pink’ event on the 17 – 19th September which will launch the charity’s ‘Join the fight for women’s survival’ campaign. Cancer Research UK has a free fundraising pack and is encouraging all to get involved in Cambridge and back this vital campaign to raise awareness and also funds for the charity. Local businesses and people in the area will be handed leaflets containing information about the disease and the work of Cancer Research UK in battling this cancer. The fundraising pack will give ideas on how supporters can get involved and raise money including a Pink Day which is due to be held on September 17th and staff in all kinds of work places can pay a pound to wear pink at work that day. Other ideas include raffles and quizzes as well as a host of events.

Consumers in Cambridge will be seeing a change in their local Lakeland store as the kitchenware retailer looks to overhaul its window displays across the country. The retailer is looking to reinvigorate their window displays and point of sale display materials along the themes of ‘home baking’ and ‘grow your own’, which are felt to reflect the current trends in these difficult times.

Tomatoes have been given a boost after some flyer printing in Cambridge by Greenery UK meant that recipe leaflets were distributed to tomato lovers with fresh ideas on how to encourage them to use tomatoes in their cooking.
- Billboards make a statement for Cambridge estate agent (May 29, 2010)
This summer in Cambridge will see two giant 48 sheet billboards displaying the new branding of local independent estate agent TuckerGardner. The estate agents, to mark their 21 years in sales and letting and to reposition themselves and their brand in the marketplace, had tasked Cambridge based Mobas to create a campaign to evolve their brand identity for the present day. This will culminate in the unveiling of posters on two of Cambridge’s most prominent billboards around the city. Mobas is a creative design, digital and brand agency solving design and communication issues for businesses in Cambridge.

Cambridge is famous for being one of the most beautiful parts of England, and has provided the backdrop for many a work of art or literary masterpiece. A new print firm in Cambridge is capitalising on the beauty of the area by offering poster printing in Cambridge of some of the city’s more famed images.
